ABOUT MONSOON WRITINGS
The name of my blog is inspired by my name, Keya – a monsoon flower originating from India. Each season holds experiences for us to endure which allow us to change and grow. Alike to a flower, we all endure the experience of our own monsoon season in order to appreciate the beauty in blooming.

Sharing significant pieces of my journey inspires me to become a better person and guides me to pursue the goals that my younger self always dreamt of achieving. It is a gift to have my voice heard, and I look forward to creating more pieces that will touch more people in this world.
EDUCATION
I graduated with highest honors from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with honors) and Cognitive Science. I currently support Rutgers undergraduate students with autism and/or attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder as an Assistant Program Coordinator at the College Support Program at the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services.
My interests lie in promoting mental health, quality of life, and familial relationships for autistic adults. With goals of pursuing graduate school, I aspire to become a clinical psychologist that supports autistic adults and their families within the community.
