Many of us have achieved goals across various aspects of our lives, yet at times, we may still find ourselves enduring some doubt in our abilities. We place high expectations on ourselves, which can stray us from finding appreciation in where we are in the present. Not only can it be difficult to overcome such feelings, but it can also lead us to question our worthiness as a whole. In a world that consistently asks us to offer more of ourselves, it can be challenging to remain motivated and continue moving forward as we progress on our journey.
While it may be painful to face such feelings, these moments show the parts of ourselves that we subconsciously desire to understand better. And when we choose to make efforts to do so, despite the challenges that we encounter on the way, it helps us develop more acceptance of who we are in that very moment.
In these moments, it can be easy to attribute such challenges to ourselves. It is important to remember that a setback is not incremental to the core essence of our being. Such obstacles are placed in our path to reveal the capacity in which we would handle a situation based on the lessons we have learned so far. We are given the opportunity to reflect on what aligns with ourselves and be willing to take the necessary steps to continue progressing.
As you strive to better understand yourself, I hope you allow your heart to open up to someone that you can confide in. Someone that you feel comfortable sharing your true self with, knowing that you will only receive safety and care in return. When we choose to be vulnerable with the right people, we allow ourselves to gradually become more open to guidance in many aspects of our lives. We allow ourselves to grow in places where we have great potential to blossom while ensuring that we are supported along the way.
We may not realize it, but there are people in this world who simply observe us and admire how effortlessly we do it all. In the way that we wake up each morning and choose to start again. Each one of us experiences a unique set of circumstances, yet we continue to work towards goals that contribute to the cohesive understanding of who we really are. And in doing so, we recognize the passion that had lied within us all along.
You come to understand that this is where you were meant to be, after all.
