There comes a time when we have grown older that we wish to be young again.
We crave to feel the joy of life without the awareness of what true pain feels like. To dream big without the fear of reality settling into our path. To fulfill ourselves without the distress of being judged by another.
We find ourselves seeking answers for what we believed to have lost along the way. But even while we are on the path of transformation, every piece of our younger selves seems to uncover itself in its most raw, authentic form when we least expect it.
It is when everything that we thought we had once lost returns back to us in its own precise timing.
And there is limitless beauty in embracing the pieces that return. There is value in appreciating the fleeting moments of life that only remind us of the person that we have become today.
It reminds us of our purpose. The power that we hold within ourselves, which only strengthens us to continue surviving—even in times where it feels difficult to do so.
When we cherish these pieces, we are guiding ourselves into the right direction. The fear of what the future may hold slowly begins to fade away as we continue discovering a new meaning to life each time that we change. We grant ourselves the opportunity to not only find appreciation for who we used to be, but for who we are today. And in doing so, we hold the privilege to give to others what they needed all along.
